Michael Berard, MD

I've had Dr. Berard nearly my entire adult life (a very long time). He is one of the most caring and personable doctors I have ever known. I appreciate the fact he takes the time to listen to you, explains things very thoroughly, doesn't judge you (doesn't mean he won't be very honest), and genuinely cares about your well being. He gives this same time and attention to all of his patients. I have always felt his staff to be very polite and professional. Every doctor should take a page from this man's book, especially on listening skills.

There are not enough positive adjectives to describe this amazing doctor. Kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, caring...doesn't begin to describe him. Any member of my family who lives within an hour's drive sees him. Dr. Berard gives you his undivided attention; he is totally present and is so easy to talk to that you feel you can tell him anything. My mother never wanted to see any other doctor. She said he really listened to her and she always felt better when she left. I have now moved across Bay Bridge to Delaware and I can just forget finding a doctor anywhere close to Dr. Berard. I went ahead with several appointments with him but realized that if I was ever hospitalized it would be too much on my family to continue. You definitely will not find a more caring and competent doctor--period. He knows what he knows and he knows what he doesn't know. He will refer you to a specialist when needed--and with all his experience he knows those who are the best in their field. BTW this is my very first review of any kind so I hope it's not too long because I could go on forever about Dr. Berard. He's the Man!!

Dr Berard is the most caring, wonderful Dr. a person could ask for. He takes his time making sure he has covered everything. I have been seeing him for 17 years and will never want another doctor. If he retires, I won't have a doctor because no one is better than him. And I am not a young person.

Dr. Berard has been my physician for 35+ years. He has taken excellent care of not only myself but most of my family. My mother passed away in 2021 at 90 yrs old and she was a constant reminder to all that would listen of the kindness, trust and genuine care she felt from him. It is a feeling we have all agreed with. We moved from the Beltsville area 14yrs ago to outside of the Annapolis area. He is worthy of the 40 min one way trip to see him. Wherever he goes we go!! Dr. Berard is not only a skilled physician, even more, he is a awesome human being.

Doctor Beard is a wonderful doctor that is very down to earth!!! I must say that he is caring and straight to the point!!! He does his absolute best to get you feeling better!!! He's my favorite doctor and I have been there for years and don't see myself leaving the practice EVER!!!!
