Chesapeake & Washington Heart Care

Physicians are great. Some office staff in Waldorf location not so much. Can't get their appointment process straight. Had them cancel 1 appointment the day before I was scheduled. Had to cancel the new one because I couldn't make it. Third appointment was never put in computer so I show up to no appointment.

My wonderful doctor Bertele wanted me to do a Linq insertion to monitor my heart. A wonderful idea, and Dr. Sadiq performed the procedure. Beautiful job, no pain, he was professional, polite, took the time to explain further the procedure. The staff was also very pleasant, accommodating, professional and caring! Would definitely continue to see these doctors.

Throughout my recent heart attack and continuing recovery, I have been impressed by the personalized care and kindness I have received from Chesapeake & Washington Heart Care from my admission through the ER to Calvert Hospital through transfer to and treatment at GW University Hospital. At Calvert Dr. Gardner took the time to explain why they wanted to transfer me, and even the name of the doctor who would do the procedure at GW. Since then it has been reassuring to have the same doctor (Dr. Sadiq) who did my angioplasty and stent at GW, available at Calvert for continuing follow up. Dr. Sadiq has been encouraging and informative and takes time to listen and answer my questions in a kind and caring way. Plus he is clear about my condition and what I should be doing for the best outcome. Another plus was the evident cooperation and coordination among Chesapeake & Washington Heart Care doctors, Calvert Hospital, and GW University Hospital as they determined the best plan for my care. I was also grateful for the cooperation and coordination among the doctors, and both hospitals as they determined the best plan for my care. I have felt comfortable and reassured every step through this scary health event and I highly recommend the Chesapeake & Washington Health Care.

Prince Frederick is where my review is based on & comes in at a one star as the receptionist & Medical Assistant were very rude for both visits. The Dr. however was not as thorough as Dr. Bertelle in his explanation of where his concern was, but still pleasant in addressing additional questions and concerns I brought up.

Dr. Saadiq is amazing. If I had to have a heart issue and I did; I would want him to treat me. His expertise, compassion, understanding and wisdom are refreshing after an alarming experience. Thanks!
