Manisha Jariwala, MD

Dr. Jariwala is an awesome doctor. She is thorough and makes sure everything concerning the care of her patients is up to date. She always answers every concern and question. My husband is also a patient and he has always had a reluctance to go to the doctor but he really is very fond of Dr Jariwala which has changed his view about going to the doctor in general. She has really caught and treated serious health issues he has had. And we both have benefited greatly from her care. She has been a blessing to us both. Always a pleasant experience. We love Dr Jariwala and the entire staff at Medstar.

We had an appointment yesterday with Dr. Manisha Janiwala -- both my daughter and I were scheduled back-to-back. My daughter was seen first due to a painful ear infection, for which she is currently taking medication. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. As my daughter began explaining her symptoms and history, the doctor interrupted her and, moments later, asked the same question my daughter had already answered. It felt as though she wasn't truly listening or paying attention, which was frustrating -- especially because we are new to the state and trying to find a trustworthy physician for long-term care. We left feeling unheard and dissatisfied, and unfortunately, it felt like a waste of both time and money.

I was referred to this doctor by a reputable doctor at the same facility. IThe last two visits were very disturbing to me. Prior to my last visit, she wanted to know why I was in her office. When I called to make the appointment, her assistant gave me a physical appointment rather than a virtual visit. I could sense she was disturbed that I was there and it was very uncomfortable having a conflict about me being there. The latest appointment was a disaster! She entered the room with a grimacing look and was rigid and somewhat unconcerned about the information I had given her assistant. I tried to remind her of my existing home dilemma and that I became ill being in a hotel environment having Seropositive Rheumatoid Arthritis along with other diseases. I had not seen a doctor since January 2025 and was waiting for my stairlift to be reinstalled. She was the first appointment I made. She seemed uninterested in anything I had to say and I believed in her frustration, she stood up to end the unfinished visit and stated that I could find another doctor. I would never recommend her to anybody in need of primary care.

Had my first appointment the other day and everything was done very smoothly and organized. The nurses are really nice and attentive and I got a nicely organized report of my visit at the end of my check up.

I had a positive visit with Dr. Jariwala. She listened and addressed my health concerns. I pray that being forthright with my health issues, she will find me open and honest.
