My main issue with this place is that when I go for my annual physical every year, it's a different physician/nurse practitioner! I just don't know why their physicians don't stay for years like my kids' physicians do (John's Hopkins too, same Odenton location). Also, Initially, they used to tell me I had to establish care with one person, then another one would do the physical, which was really weird to me, but they changed that later. Maybe people were complaining or something. Apart from that, I haven't had any problems with them. They do a good job. When I complained to the last lady I saw recently, she told me that she would be staying at the Odenton location because she's moved around other locations and that she prefers the Odenton one, so we'll see what happens if I go back next year (not sure because I now have Medicaid insurance, and they don't accept it)

This is just from my last encounter with the Billing Department for the 2-3rd time this year but allow me to sum everything up in the following: Pros: * There are some good doctors and nurses here, though you have to do your homework on who you're seeing otherwise you're stuck with an apathetic medical professional. * Location is in a good area, there are some pharmacies nearby where you can visit if you were prescribed something. * Building itself has a lab, physical therapy, specialist office, and an area where they can do a scan. Cons: * Make sure you know your insurance down to a T, they over charged me for an incorrect surcharge. * Depending on who and what's going on you may run into apathetic and rude front desk staff and care team members (the nurses and doctors tend to be good but there are some bad apples). * If you go for your physical, make sure you ask your doctor, "Am I going to be charged if I answer your question?" Because they have a ridiculous policy where they apply surcharge on anything that requires the doctor to do an investigation--yes, that includes if you're updating your family medical history. And yes, this applies to if your doctor asks you how *insert medical condition here* has been.

Terrible terrible practice. The physician's here just don't care one bit, the front staff don;t care either. Terrible customer service. Appointments are nearly impossible to get. I expected more from the name John's Hopkins. To clarify, the provider I saw was SAMIHA FARHAT KHAN. The appointment started over 1 hour late. She showed ZERO care or empathy and was completely useless and unable to help at all with my issue. Absolutely disgusting behavior and I expect more from this provider.

Went to this location to establish care with a primary care doctor, as my previous one retired. I arrived at the office just 1 minute before my appointment time. The front desk was able to check me in right away. The wait for the nurse was quick, about 5-10 minutes. My appointment with the internal med doctor was quick and efficient. There is a Johns Hopkins Lab on the ground level of this building for bloodwork needs.

They are starting to nickel and dime patients for messages. Come on, the doctors never get right back to you with answers. At best, 2 days! Then, The other thing is how can a doctor do a video visit and check out a serious heart patient. John Hopkins your board of directors new to revisit what rules they are putting into place. How about this paying your patients for waiting past their appointment time to see the doctor. My time is worth something too.
