Padder Health Services - Primary Care and Cardiology in Laurel, MD

I've had a very unpleasant experience with Padder Health Services over the past 2-3 weeks. When I called to verify my appointment, the person operating the phone system failed to inform me that the office location had changed. This led to me missing an important appointment entirely. When I finally made it to a rescheduled visit, there was clear miscommunication between the different office locations regarding the paperwork that needed to be completed for me. As a result, the necessary forms were never prepared, and I ultimately missed my healthcare clinicals--something that could have been easily avoided with basic communication and competence. Throughout this entire experience, I encountered poor customer service, unhelpful staff who lacked the knowledge to answer basic patient questions, and a frustrating lack of communication. I'll be changing my primary care provider and would not recommend Padder Health to anyone looking for reliable or professional healthcare services.

I've been a patient of Dr. Kay since 2014. . She's a gem. I'm thankful how concerned she is when I'm not feeling well. She gets right to the problem and finds the solution. Thank you Dr. Kay.

1 Star - Avoid at All Costs Padder Health Services has been a nightmare for my 90-year-old uninsured grandmother. They've billed her the same claim number (1050482) over and over for months with different amounts -- $325, $340, $191, $166 -- all for the same "routine" visit. Every appointment was the same: a quick chat, no improvements, but coded and billed like high-complexity cardiology. When we asked about a payment plan, the office managers refused and shamed us, saying we were "taking care away from other patients" because she couldn't pay thousands upfront. They also tacked on extra fees instead of helping. This isn't care -- it's predatory billing that leaves vulnerable elderly patients scared to seek treatment. We've since filed formal complaints with the Maryland Attorney General and the Maryland Board of Physicians for potential upcoding, repeated billing, and discriminatory conduct. If you care about your loved ones, do not bring them here. Try Luminous Health in Annapolis instead -- they treat patients like people, not ATMs.

This office does not care about patients. Beware.... doctor was nice caring however the office does work well with doctor. You have to beg them to do their jobs and the office Manager does not call you back. There is no outlet to complain either.

Paris took excellent care of me. She was incredibly sweet throughout the entire process and explained Allergy Immunotherapy to me clearly and thoroughly. The procedure was quick and smooth
