I have been a patient at Opal Medical Group for probably 25 hrs. Or more. I hav always been taken care of very well through the year. The staff & Doctor's, Nurse Practitioners have all been great. I have never been mistreated.

On November 11, 2025, I was seen at Opal Medical Group in Hagerstown, MD by Dr. Farid Murshed. I requested specialized lab tests (Iron, TIBC, Ferritin Panel, and a Men's Hormonal Panel) due to ongoing health concerns and a need for a second opinion after care at the VA Clinic. My request was dismissed as "unnecessary." Because of this, I had to pay out-of-pocket for the tests, which revealed very low testosterone and very low ferritin levels--both clinically significant findings that should not have been overlooked. I believe this dismissal reflects a lack of patient-centered care, caused unnecessary financial burden, and delayed proper evaluation of my health. Patients deserve providers who listen and take their concerns seriously. I hope Opal Medical Group reviews this matter and ensures future patients receive the respect and diligence they deserve.

Yi Vance is probably my most favorite doctor ever i miss her truly. Always lovely experience at this office i miss the ladies up front too and the wonderful nurse with the cute crocs
