While Dr. Khalid Ashai is an excellent doctor, the conduct of the front office staff and technician Rick Abney was completely unprofessional.
We had already rescheduled a stress test because technician Abney was unable to work with small veins. At our second appointment, we were ignored as other patients were taken ahead of us. Abney claimed he would speak with Dr. Ashai about needing an ultrasound, but after waiting an hour and a half, I had to approach the front desk myself, where the staff seemed completely unaware of the situation.
This level of incompetence is unacceptable, especially given the high standard of care provided by a talented and dedicated doctor like Dr. Ashai.

Dr. Ashai is a knowable physician, however his front office staff are atrocious. These women are rude, condescending, and outright ridiculous. They make medical decisions without consulting the doctor and refused to leave proper messages.
If you value your health, well-being, and service avoid this doctor until he gets better front office staff. The front office staff are the rudest most ridiculous people around.

I haven't seen a doctor this caring in a very long time. He really listened to me and helped to put my mind at ease. I will follow all of his instructions concerning my heart. He's seems to be very knowledgable and trustworthy. He was the only one to see me as early as possible during my crisis. I told other offices my chest was in constant pain after an emergency room visit and they all gave appointments 1 to 2 weeks away. They also have online self portal which is very useful for anyone. Awesome experience, super staff.

Dr. Ashai truly is a very caring and wonderful cardiologist.The staff & office personnel is also as wonderful. The wait time for your scheduled appointment could be better, but worth the wait.

They do not have patient portal access and hard to get someone regarding meds. They are very nice at the front desk. But the doctor or assistant takes a long time to return phone calls.
