I recently had a troubling experience at Dr. Sara Mekuria's office that I feel compelled to share. Despite providing my insurance information, which was scanned and added to my file, I was initially charged in full for my visit instead of my insurance being billed. Resolving this issue required numerous follow-up calls. The situation was further exacerbated during my most recent call, when I encountered poor customer service. The staff member I spoke with was unaware that November is the 11th month, which raised concerns about their competency. Additionally, the background noise from other staff members talking loudly and laughing made communication nearly impossible. When I expressed my frustration and explained why I would not be making another appointment, the staff member's response was simply to say "ok" and then hang up. It's worth noting that this review pertains specifically to Dr. Sara Mekuria and her staff. My experience with another doctor in the same office--who shares the space with various specialists--has been consistently professional and satisfactory. This review reflects my dissatisfaction with Dr. Mekuria's office rather than the entire medical facility.
The front desk is terrible, the asian girl is horrible, she hang off on me, and she take an appointment to my mom without my autorization. The dr good but the people around her have a really bad maners.
Dr Sara is really Great. She listened to me with patience and didn't make me feel that she has to see next patient soon. She gave me very good suggestions which will definitely gonna help me to improve my health. Thank you.
