I am very disappointed with my experience at Capital Cardiac Care in Gaithersburg with Dr. Pankaj Lal's office. When I left the office after my test, I was told the doctor would call me with my results. It has now been more than five days, and I still have not heard anything.
I called the office to follow up, and instead of giving me any update, the front desk told me I need to schedule a telehealth appointment just to receive my results. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional.
Timely communication is essential, especially in cardiac care. The lack of follow-up, broken promises, and poor communication have caused me unnecessary stress. I expected much better care and reliability from this office.

I was referred to Dr. Lal for a pre-op cardiac clearance after a minor issue was detected on my EKG. From the very first phone call to schedule my appointment through to my visit, the entire experience was seamless. The staff was warm, welcoming, and professional, and I was able to secure an appointment the very next day.
All of the required tests were completed promptly, allowing me to move forward with my surgery without delay. Dr. Lal and his team are truly top tier--I cannot recommend Capital Cardiac Care enough. A special mention goes to Matthew, the nuclear medicine technician, who was an absolute delight to work with.

Have been to several doctor's office at several occassions for other purposes in the past but never felt the kind of satisfaction I felt at this centre. Dr. Lal has this great friendly qualities that made me feel the best experience at any doc's office. He is open to discussions and understand the patient's limitations. I felt the tests he recommended were absolutely minimal to get the most information for my condition.
