I always anticipate a long visit at Demr. Brinkley's office. Not because she or her staff is too slow, but because Dr. Brinkley is the absolute BEST. She not only provide the best treatment to us, she takes her time providing care to us and makes sure we understand what is going on, that we agree upon a reasonable treatment plan and the we completely understand our treatment plan. I am legally blind... Dr. Brinkley g o es over ALL paper work that I need to sign that day. She reads over my doctors orders for ALL tests and blood work that I'm taking with me and ALL referrals being mad for me. If there are any calls being made for referrals by her office on my behalf, Dr. Brinkley lets me know who will most likely be making those appointments and calling me back. She is cautious with medications she prescribes and changes so that they do not conflict and has caught medications other providers have prescribed for me that conflict with my current meds. Office staff and nurses are wonderful. They are helpful, pleasant and funny too. The waiting room is very clean. If there's a mess or spill, someone is out there within literally 2 minutes to clean, and if it means mopping a spot in the floor, a caution sign is not only placed over the area, but somebody is watching to warn patients to please walk around the wet because the people in the office doesn't want anyone to slip' fall and get hurt. There are books and current magazines provided for reading.

Dr Brinkley is an excellent diagnostician who catches many things other doctors do not. Yes she can run behind but she does so because she is very detail oriented and takes time to talk through medical options. She explains the medications she is giving and why. I've met a number of people in the waiting room, who like me would have gone undiagnosed with serious illnesses had it not been for her diligence. She does not rush through patient visits just to keep on schedule. You and your health are important and it takes time to figure out what's going on. So while you may be waiting you can be assured you will get the same attention. Medicine takes time. She is also very good about ordering the specific bloodwork you need to get to the root of your problem. Every specialist she has sent me to see has been top notch and helpful. I'm feeling better than I have in years thanks to her skill and efforts and I recommend her without reservation.

Dr. Brinkley is great. But the front office is a nightmare. They obviously over schedule the doctors, getting a message over the phone to your doctor is impossible, forget about a return call, I've set in the waiting room anywhere from one hour to seven hours waiting to see her. Get rid of the front office staff and start over. Patients are not just dollar bills.

Office staff should inform new patients of the extremely long wait, but at the end, it was worth the wait. If she took the time she took with me, for each of her patients...you will understand the wait. Office staff lack of informing me took one star away. Highly recommend Dr. Brinkley!

Dr Brinkley will spend a lot of time with you and is willing to ask unusual questions which often means a LOT of blood tests. This was very comforting to me when no one would take me seriously. I find the staff pleasant and kind. I've been seeing Dr Brinkley for almost 2 years and I feel that she has helped me tremendously!
