Edward Fisher MD

Been going here for years and years. They have few reviews because, well, their average client base isn't actually the youngest bunch. Duh. Some patients will be difficult to work with regardless of who they go see and I think that shines through in a couple of these reviews. But IMO, these guys are the best. And much of Frederick agrees given the literal "Best of Frederick" awards Dr. Fisher gets. So if you're having issues here, look inside and seriously consider how you and your attitude might have contributed to the experience because these guys are as straight and honest as they come.

The doctor at this practice is condescending and rude. The nurse practitioner is incompetent. They tried to check my A1c. Ended up pricking the same finger five times only to tell me the test didn't work. We suggested possibly using a different finger and they said no it wouldn't make a difference. But they didn't mind poking the same finger five times. They never mentioned it again or tried to get my A1C at my more recent appointments. If you have a painful condition or any concerns the doctor here won't help you. That's beyond "his scope of work." I've given them plenty of chances and they've done the least each time not to mention they rush the appointments. Overall rude and unprofessional when it comes down to it. Do yourself a favor and go to a doctor who cares. Amazing this doctor is an older doctor and you would think he was from that cloth of doctors that cares. He's been in practice for 30 years and has a total of five or six reviews? Let that sink in.

I have been taking my son here for 2 years and I wish I had started here sooner. Dr. Fisher is excellent and does a great job really talking to my son about his health and listening to his concerns. Highly recommend!

I've been going to Dr. Fishcers office for at least 20 years. Aside from gradually seeing my weight increase I have never had a bad experience. The entire office is inviting and friendly.

Dr Fisher is honest and straight to the point. He is a great doctor and listens to what you have to say. Highly recommend him and the office!
