I have been happy with Dr. Parks but im in process of looking for another cardiologist. Office staff never returns call s.i LM on Tuesday Thursday and Friday not one call. Even nurse line noone answer. This is completely unacceptable. They are not that busy at front desk every minute 8 hours a day.

I arrived early, as requested. Was checked in quickly and taken to the exam room right on time. The nurse that took my vitals and history was very nice. Spent the time. Listened. She assured me that Dr. Park would take care of me and as she left the room said she messaged Dr Park to let her know I was ready. She said she would be with me in a few minutes. After that I never saw anyone. My wife and I waited for more than an hour and noticed it got very quiet in the office. When we came out of the examining room there was no one in sight and the office seemed empty. When we walked by the receptionist my wife told her we had not seen Dr Park and she seemed surprised. Either Aimee Park is rude or very unorganized. Either is unprofessional.

This woman is treated my husband for years. He became very ill with internal bleeding. Long story short, my husband called her after being in the hospital with this internal bleeding letting her know it was still going on and she told him to keep an eye on it. Nothing to keep an eye on when you can't see blood. He was suppose to go to Hopkins to have a watchman put in his heart for blood clots but couldn't do it because of the bleeding. He had a lot of medical issues and he ended up having a stroke. Although she had nothing to do with his other issues, when i questioned her in the hospital after it was too late about why she told him to keep an eye on the bleeding she didn't have an answer. Highly don't recommend this woman.

Dr. Park is thorough, direct, and easy to talk to. I like all of these things about her. She probably orders more tests than necessary, but I was worried about family heart issues, so I sort of appreciated her inclination to do so. I really didn't like the office as a whole though. It is hard to speak to someone via phone when you have questions. You will leave a message and they may or may not get back to you in a timely manner. They are also so efficient that they lack a bed-side manner (so to speak). They have probably taken on too many patients because it is always busy and they do not spend enough time with each patient.,

I cannot understand these one star ratings. I recently came under Dr Park's care when my echocardiogram showed a severe aortic stenosis. Dr. Park knew exactly what to do and was very assertive in my behalf in getting me in to see the TAVR team at Hopkins. I had an appointment in record time because she called directly. Furthermore, she sent me to Frederick ER( again calling ahead) for observation prior to my getting into Hopkins. She personally appeared at my bedside in Frederick the next morning. I now have a new heart valve because of her expertise and care. Yes, she is direct and straightforward, and Yes, she has made needed improvements in the administrative end of her practice. But if you are looking for a a strong advocate for your heart health in Frederick, she has my five stars without reservation. In fact she has my six!
