Everyone has been a conscientious and valuable employee! They have attended to my needs in a reasonable amount of time! I am pleased by the support staff, as well as the doctors. Dr. Vasallo is engaging, kind and not an alarmist! He takes the time to ask important questions and offer information. When he has not been on call or unavailable, the other doctors have been generously kind, too!

I'm surprised by the negative reviews. I have been a patient of Dr Talesnick for 25 years and I'm willing to come from Alexandria to see him. He is exceptional. Great bedside manner. Takes the time to talk with me about my questions. He's very good at explaining issues I might be dealing with. He doesn't over prescribe meds and is more concerned with root causes than symptoms I might have. There aren't a lot of doctors quite like him. His office staff are helpful, friendly and willing to help me get prescription refills and appointments as soon as I need them. They have never been rude or condescending to me or others I see them interacting with while I am in the waiting room. The nurse practitioner follows up and answers questions. I feel very supported.

The office staff is friendly, efficient and well trained. Dr. Joseph Vassallo treated me with respect, caring and gave me his full attention and information related to my health. Dr. Vassallo also kept my primary care physician informed which gave me the peace of mind that everyone could work together for my best health care. I have never had such wonderful treatment. For the first time in many years I am completely free of all pain and able to function to my fullest.

Horrible experience from beginning to end! Unprofessional and incompetent!! Do NOT go here! First, two younger staff members at the front desk on their phones the entire time. Could not get their attention to check me in. Did not seem to understand why I was there. No one explained to me the procedure even though I was scared and didn't know what it would entail. Front office staff did not take my insurance at check in or at exit even though I offered it to them both times. Then, when on vacation repeated phone calls and emails they didn't have my insurance (no surprise!). I emailed and texted them my insurance cards and gave it to them over the phone. My bill came and it STILL had not gone through insurance and I was listed as self-pay. Had to call back to the office. The manager on the phone was condescending and unresponsive to my concerns saying I provided insurance information "late" even though I said I had offered it them five different times in 4 different ways (in person, over phone, email, text). Additionally, during my test, a staffer walked into the testing room without knocking and spoke to the technician about another patient in front of me while I was lying there on the table in a front open gown with my chest out. It was inappropriate to me and inappropriate to the patient they were speaking about in front of me. Nothing about this medical office would suggest they are competent and can be trusted with your medical care. Go somewhere else! Lots to choose from in DC/DCM area!!

very unhappy with the rude and condescending staff! just to get a simple prescription refilled is a bureaucratic nightmare! you have to know the right questions to ask to find out if it will be filled in a timely manner!! the staff is a special blend of rudeness and arrogance!
