I'm really disappointed with my experience at this MedStar doctor's office. I had scheduled what I thought was a new patient appointment, but it turns out I was mistakenly listed as a returning patient. Instead of anyone calling to clarify or correct the issue, my appointment was canceled via text message with no explanation. When I called to find out what happened, I was told that because I was a new patient, I'd need to rebook -- but the doctor is now fully booked until July of next year. That leaves me without care and having to start the process over somewhere else. This feels unprofessional and poorly handled, especially for new patients trying to establish care. A simple phone call or clearer communication would've gone a long way.
