Edwards Allison R MD

I have been a patient with Dr. Edwards for over an year. I have been seen by her several times over the past few months due to blood pressure stabilization. She has become extremely rude, both verbally and her demeanor. She does not like you to ask questions about medication regime or question your test results. She refuses to listen to you or provide eye contact. You leave Medstar portal messages and they never get returned. She even stated to me over a month ago, that if she was a white Dr. then I would not be questioning anything. I had to walk out of her office last week after she entered the room with a negative attitude and was mad when I called her on it. I refuse to pay for a Dr. That makes me feel worst after I leave their office. So sad and upsetting!

I enjoy Dr. Edwards and appreciate her thoroughness and honesty. She takes her time with you and answers all of your questions. I only wish that her front office staff was more efficient. It's very hard scheduling with them. Outside of that, which is very frustrating, I personally enjoy Dr. Edwards and her nurse practitioners.

I enjoyed my initial consultation and the fact that it allowed both of us the opportunity to see if we are a good fit. Often you go to a doctor and you are immediately committed even though you may not click. With Dr. Edward being a cardiologist and having high blood pressure and vascular issues she immediately saw problems with my current medications that I had been on since 2005. I always felt and expressed concern with previous doctor about not feeling as good as I should have being on the medicine for so long

The worst physician EVER.. Dr Edwards is very rude and do not return patients phone calls or emails. I made an appointment for my sick elderly mom since she will not return any of our many messages. She yelled at my mom & told her it wasnt important & she is very busy . HOW RUDE!!!! I have since reported her horrible practice to DOH

I'm a health care worker. 25yrs under my belt. I've had 10 or more doctors and have worked with hundreds.....I have never been treated as bad as I was today!!! Unprofessional.not even one star for the way I feel right now.
