We thought we'd be there for hours and hours. Turned out it took about 20 mins to get into a room and another 30 to have the doc come in to diagnose. The staff were all friendly and helpful which made for a nice experience for my kid. Crossing fingers we won't have to return but if it's needed we have Suburban as top 5.

I was admitted here during a psychiatric crisis, and what I experienced was not care--it was neglect. Because I was labeled a "psych patient," my physical health was ignored. I was dehydrated, weak, and barely able to move. My vision was blurry. No nurse came. No hydration IV was offered. I was told to wait until morning for food, despite clear signs of medical distress. I was forced into a wheelchair under threat of restraint and sedation. I asked to walk with dignity, but was denied. I was subjected to a strip search that retraumatized me, even though I'm autistic and have a history of trauma. No one asked for consent. No one offered alternatives. There was no therapist on the ward. No trauma-informed care. No sensory-safe environment. I was left to self-harm because no one gave me tools, support, or even basic emotional regulation strategies. I had to survive on my own. This hospital needs to radically rethink how it treats neurodivergent and suicidal patients. We are not threats. We are people in pain. And we deserve care--not control.

Now THIS hospital is a beacon of excellence. Everyone from the front desk to the parking attendants to the physicians are pleasant and experienced in their respective fields. You're safe when you come here, which isn't the case with some other hospitals. I've received top-notch care each time (except during one ER visit, RN was a little too jabby with the needle). It was placed it so deep the Physician noticed, but that's not enough to deter recommending or visiting in the future if needed.

My husband had to have a MRI after a fall and they were wonderful and my mom was having fainting spells, after taking her to 2 other hospitals they were able to diagnose her. Now it's my turn, was sick for weeks cold/flu went to three doctors from being dizzy off and on for over a week from it, here for MRI. Doctor checked me, no stroke symptoms; okay to go home, hopefully dizziness easies from inflammation from server congestion.

Again, for the second time in the last two+ years, my visit to Suburban Hospital was far superior to most hospital experiences. The building is spotless, the staff are most efficient and kind, and the care is without a doubt, the best. Both ER doctors (two visits) were wonderful and knowledgeable. I really knew I was in good hands...thank you again and again!
