Dr. Wedam received his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He completed fellowships in cardiovascular medicine at the National Naval Medical Center & Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Bethesda, and in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Virginia.

Dr Wdham is excellent. He has a great knowledge of medicine and his specialty- cardiology. He has a great bed-side manner. He recommends treatments that work. He is up to date on all the latest research and treatments. He spends good ample time with oatients and really cares about his patients. All in all, he is topnotch!
Dr. Wedam is very professional and one of the best Cardiologists out there. He took such great care of my mom (who had a pacemaker) in which Dr. Wedam operated on her and did a fantastic job. He also takes his time and wants to hear all things pertaining to your health and tries to find other medical options that would best fit. Unfortunately, my mom passed away three (3) months ago due to Covid-19 and respiratory problems, she had just turned seventy (70) years old. Thank you for your help Dr. Wedam. He listens intently to what you are telling him and when you are finished speaking he goes into specific detail of your alternatives, and he is very clear about your choices.
