Dr. Brent A. Berger, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Berger's for over 25 years. Despite moving further from the office, I continue as a patient of his. He is thoughtful in his consideration of my health issues, listens to my concerns, provides constructive and practical responses for my needs, and has a wonderful bedside manner. The healthcare profession would benefit greatly from more professionals like him.

They don't make them any better than Dr. Berger. He has been our internal medicine doctor since the mid 1990's. We love his concierge practice and the approach he takes to health care. Dr. Berger cares. If you want someone who "gets it" and is readily available when you need him, then go with Dr. Berger. You'll be glad you did.

I feel that Dr. Berger is very much a partner in my health care and wellbeing. He clearly keeps up to date with the latest developments in health care and makes decisions carefully and in an informed manner. At the same time, he treats me with great respect, providing detailed (often too detailed!) information about my condition and relevant treatments and medications and inviting me to participate in decisions about what course to follow. Because of the way he addresses me, I think I am more likely to seek his guidance and follow his advice--and of course I realize that this contributes to maintaining my good health as I age.

Dr. Berger is an extraordinary internist. He listens very attentively to the patient's description of his/her/their condition and symptoms. He draws first upon his extensive expertise and knowledge. He also will research issues about which he has uncertainty in real time. He is meticulous about his diagnoses. He follows up regarding response to medications he prescribed and the patient's condition following an office visit. He will initiate contacts with patients to make sure that they are doing well. He does not overprescribe medications. He demonstrates flexibility in dosing depending upon how the patient responds. He responds faithfully and timely to efforts to contact him. he is kind and inspires confidence and optimism on the patient's part.

Dr,. Berger has always been there for us. He is kind, empathetic, attentive, knowledgeable and understanding of our needs. He is a wonderful physician and human being and I am so glad we found him many years ago. I just hope he does not retire while I am alive.
