Friendly and efficient staff. Back surgery went well with minimum pain post surgery. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Bathroom was not well cleaned in 3 days. Commode leg had hard brown on it which we were told was rust but wiped off with a bit of rubbing. When checking in sheets on gurney were stained or dirty. Third set appeared clean.

I spent four days in the hospital due to a severe dog bite and infection, and the entire staff was truly heroic. The dedication and skill I experienced were life-saving. Highlights of Exceptional Care: ER/Intake: Absolutely incredible staff, especially Christina (a very experienced ER nurse) and the triage nurse who helped me with my wedding rings--immediate kindness and efficiency during a scary time. Medical Leadership: Huge thanks to Dr. Thapaliya (care coordinator) for his kindness and thorough explanations, and Dr. Eider (Infectious Disease) for his expertise, which got me the right medicine and helped me heal fast. The entire Amazing 9W Team (Nurses/Techs/Support): The 9 West folks are the sweetest people on Earth and they should all be named individually, but my mere brain could not retain all of the names, but I remember every beautiful face . Thank you to NP Erica Stoner, both Esters, Donna, Renea, Jaquanda, Kendra, Margaret and the whole team for their compassionate care. Special recognition to the "Ray of Sunlight" working The station usually near my room. Who was an absolute Joy despite working 60 hours a week! Hand Department: Thanks to Dr. Eric Singer and his team for saving my thumb with their kindness and expertise. Every person, from the doctors to the staff who cleaned my room so quietly, showed genuine care and treated everyone with kindness. They are all heroes! I am eternally grateful.

I love this hospital and the doctor, but today September 5th at 730pm an employee yelled at us at the parking lot saying we can't park here and its only for employees (the sign clearly states for patient) . My mom is a patient of this hospital and we were told by the doctor to park here. We explained that to the female employee but she didn't want to listen and was very nasty. In fact she was parked in the patients parking spot instead of the staff parking spot. I'm worried she can't read. Update: Very nasty security desk clerk (unprofessional raising their voice). Also racially biased. Allows certain children in and some not for visitation. They said "no exception". Everyone that visits this hospital is not here for fun and have a family in need. Even the other visitor waiting at the lobby was shocked because of unprofessionalism and they also stated they saw children allowed entry. Please learn to be fair. See if this makes sense, children are allowed to to go in if a family member died, so an alive patient that want to see their grandchild for morale support can not been see unless they are dead?? Hmmm? 11/15/2025 10:40am.

Have been seen a few years now with Dr Meninger for management of both my folks rhythm issues. He's very reassuring and patient. Absolutely felt like he had my folks best interest in mind with care planning, and when needed, he personally referred us promptly to the specialty heart failure clinic for evaluation. Accompanied mother for eval at AHF clinic with Dr. Xu, and later for a PYP scan. Can't say enough positive things about Dr. Xu. Feeling incredibly thankful for his insights, and time spent with Mom. Patient and informative, explaining plans so we all understood. Follow up has been great thru mychart portal, and attention to detail is apparent. Spent another day at PYP scan in nuclear medicine. Technician Tom was wonderful, and explained in detail about the testing. Very kind and helpful with my mother. Appreciated his calm demeanor, patience with Moms limitations and professionalism throughout testing. Highly recommend Union Memorial Heart Care.

I had a great experience with my ablation procedure with the team at Union Memorial hospital. They are compassionate, caring, and very professional. They took care of me throughout the process and informed me exactly what was going to happen and answered all my questions. Dr. Jones was outstanding Before during and after the procedure. Very easy to use the parking garages, which connect to the hospital. All staff I met at Memorial during my visit were terrific!
