On 9/2 I had an appointment with Dr Kool. It was a follow-up appointment to a bleeding out appointment on Aug 5, 1025. I lost 3 liters of blood and could have bled to death. Dr kool applied a tiny bandage strip to where I had bled out from, and told me to apply something larger when I got home. Do kool said she would phone in a prescription for an antibiotic to Northern Pharmacy to address an ever reddening and painful sore where I had bled out. She never did.0n9/3 after many phone calls to the pharmacy and to dr kool's office, I got in my car and drove to kool's office to track down the prescription. I am 84 years old, and should not be driving out on a sweltering day , an with a substantial Amy of pain to track down a prescription. The receptionist was on her private phone the whole time as she had been when I was there on9/2. She indicated I had phoned her already and what more did I want! Earlier on the phone, she had made believe she was some off-site answering service to further insulate herself from helping me. She was rude slammed her window shut in my face and walked out the room. Eventually a woman from the back came out and said she would call dr kool about getting the prescription to me. As of now, northern pharmacy still doesn't have it, and i despair they ever will, but I will try again later. Correction: I bled out at my home on august 5. I was transported to Shock Trauma in Baltimore. They told me to make an appointment with a vein specialist, and that is was brought me to Dr. Kool's. I was most concerned with an unhealing and progressively reddening sore at my left ankle where I had bled out, concerned it would open and I would bleed out again. This was not ruled out by Kool, snd I think she let the ball drop on this most important matter insofar as an antibiotic to heal what could have again turned into something more serious. She did not call it in at least not yet.
