MedStar Health: Cardiology at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center - White Square Professional Building

The staff are very professional. They let you know everything they are going to do for you.. Medical assistant was very polite and talkative. Doctor bittar is very easy to talk to and he listens to you As you are speaking to him, he is very thorough with his questions and his examination. I am very happy with med star's Cardiology Department. And we'd recommend them to anyone

Dr. Alston is a thorough and knowledgeable clinician with excellent bedside manner. But the staff is the frontline of any practice. The staff at Franklin Square is exceptional from the time you enter the office and greeted by Annette who is willing to go the extra mile to get you checked in promptly and seen (even if you were a little late) to. LaPaula assisting you with your next appointment and making sure you have all of your instructions and information for discharge. This team made my routine follow up memorable enough to take time out of my busy day to write this thank you. I appreciate their courtesy and professionalism that made me feel valued and cared for. The cardiologist I have been seeing doesn't seem to be very knowledgeable. She keeps doing the same thing test, and feel doesn't listen to what I'm saying instead of saying I don't know keeps having me come back with the same rushed visit with lack of solutions. 3rd time back and had some minor issue to discuss and she ordered same test and rushes the appt, and bedside manner is a lot to be desired as well with her. So sad that healthcare is not what it should be. They need to treat everyone how they would want to be treated. Late for my appt but then rush and not listen to me. Just such bad care. Won't be returning.

The wait time to be seen is reasonable. You're greeted professionally. Dr Mozayan comes in with a smile and very personable. I would recommend in a heartbeat.

This is my first opportunity to visit cardiology at MEDSTAR Franklin Square and I was impressed and my expectations exceeded. I arrived early and I was seen early and check in and check out procedures or easy fast and respectful. Dr George Bittar, MD took the time needed to BEFORE my visit to understand my past medical history, 2 ablations, and prescriptions. Dr. Bittar then listened to my chief complaints, reviewed the EKG and other lab results and we discussed the path forward. I'm leaving Johns Hopkins and partnering with MedStar.
