Fernando J. Ferro, M.D.

Dr. Ferro is one in a million!!! He has been our primary physician for well over a decade. He is very caring about his patients. He LISTENS. He is easy to talk to about the most personal things. Dr. Ferro takes time with his patients. He gets to KNOW his patients. He makes a care plan that involves the patient and explains it in a simple and easily understood manner. Dr. Ferro is an exceptional diagnostician. He picks up on the tiniest inconsistency in blood work, tests, x-rays, etc and follows through. He sends his patients to specialists when needed, and consults with these specialists and advocates for his patients. He has literally saved our lives with his keen eye and medical abilities. Dr. Ferro is a nice guy; one of the truly good guys around. We are most thankful that he is our doctor. We are honored to know him!

Dr. Ferro may be terrific, but we have no way of knowing that. My wife selected Dr. Ferro as her primary care doctor over 6 months ago. He was selected because he speaks Spanish, was recommended by another doctor and is listed with our insurance. However, we have been told repeatedly when we call for an appointment that she will have to wait 6 months to see him. I asked Deneen at his office if a message could be left for the doctor to see if he could fit her in somehow because she needs to see a Spanish speaking doctor, however, she refused to take a message for the doctor. She stated that instead a nurse practitioner had been assigned as her doctor. I explained that the nurse practitioner is not who we selected as my wife's doctor and does not speak Spanish. She said another Dr. there speaks Spanish. I asked Deneen when that appointment could be scheduled. She said not until January (that is still 6 months away) . The doctor may be great, we will never know, but his staff is terrible and since you will have to deal with the staff to get to the doctor, be forewarned.

Dr. Ferro was my PCP when I lived in Maryland. He is extremely compassionate and attentive, and he focuses on the entirety of a patient's wellbeing.

Very clean organized and professional and Dr. Ferro is very thorough.

None
