Patient
His office manager was not a nice person. She talked down to me about a balance owed and claimed bills were sent, which were never received. The balance was a charge for a procedure that required pre-authorization with the insurance company. The office manager, doctor, staff did not get pre-authorization. I called the insurance company and they called the doctor and the doctor himself refused to speak with the insurance company. Dr Chatham left a nasty voicemail at home for me stating he would sue me for the balance. A report said that my ejection fraction was at 28% and I was never informed. I switched to another cardiologist and the office absolutely refused to transfer my medical records to him. My primary care physician helped me piece together everything that was needed. And what I needed was a defibrillator because of the ejection fraction being so low. So he basically tried to kill me by not telling me that or referring me to electrophysiology. He is retired now and it's a good thing because he refused to do anything electronically and stated to me that if he had to he would retire. Good riddance.
