Scott M Katzen, MD is board certified in cardiology and interventional cardiology. Dr Katzen specializes in diagnosing and managing conditions including valvular heart disease, arrhythmias, and atherosclerotic heart disease. In addition, he regularly performs cardiac catheterization procedures and percutaneous coronary interventions. Dr Katzen currently serves as the medical director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Anne Arundel Medical Center, which is considered one of the busiest designated chest pain centers within the state of Maryland. His specific scope of care includes both management and prevention of ischemic heart disease, as well as treatment in the emergent setting.
