About Dr. John Hyoungsub Shin, MD
Dr John Shin is a board-certified clinical cardiac electrophysiologist at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute. He sees patients in Annapolis and Washington, D.C. Dr Shin specializes in treating cardiac arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, bradyarrhythmia, and syncope. He performs catheter ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implants, and lead extractions. Previously, he spent 10 years with the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group. Dr Shin earned his MD from Vanderbilt and completed residency and fellowships at the University of Chicago, where he served as Chief Fellow.
