when i had an echo last sept 2024 at nl emmc,i was told i needed a cardiac mri due to light chain patterns on my echo, which were a new finding..but i tried to first get an explanation as to what that finding meant, before i consented to have that test..i never did get an explanation from the p. a who had called me about having an mri ordered to help diagnose what those findings meant..still no info about why this is being ordered as to likely reasons for needing it..i also asked to have the dr who read my echo to please call me to explain the several possibilities of the diagnosis..so i refused until i got dr jelani in june to see me and explain what i needed to know..i agreed to do it with her explanation given to me ..im still waiting and its now aug 19,2025 and i called today at mri and another company does their sced now..she found that it had been cancelled AGAIN,even tough i agreed to have it when i saw dr jelani..so i called just now and the mri sec. said she wouild send this info the the outside scheduling people ,so they could correct the mistake of CANCELLING MY MRI APPT,ordered by dr jelani in june....so now im waiting to see what happens now..she told me at mri to keep checking with CARDIOLOGY!!i feel this is so wrong that i have to "chase down the outside company who is responsible for getting me on the mri schedule..ive made way too many phone calls already ..what has happened to northern light cardiology???and the card mri dept of scheduling.. .im 79 yrs and wonder if this is actually going to happen before my time on earth is up..thank you,and i am an advocate for myself ...

I've been dealing with Afib for a couple of years now. 3 procedures with the last two successful. Over all - only Dr. Sullivan took the time to review my history before meeting with me. I fired one surgeon for prescribing a medication that the history had already shown a reaction to. I was to receive a 30 & 90 day follow up after the last procedure, fall of 2024, and on the 30 day - it was obvious that the nurse had no idea of previous procedures & history and as far as the 90 - it's been 5 months since the procedure, and I haven't heard a thing. It looks like they've lost me again (it will be the 2nd time...)

Dr. Earl and the entire staff at Northern Light Cardiology are amazing, compassionate people. If not for Dr. Earl I well may not be here to write this review today. Every visit since my initial heart attack and CTO-PCI procedure has been nothing but caring and concern for my health and progression toward a full recovery. I have nothing but praise for this facility. Five stars is simply not enough.

Not happy at all with the service provided to me during my last visit. A Dr there seemed more concerned on himself an what he had to say, than taking my information into consideration. Spent a total of 7 mins with me on a issue that has no ans for the last 4 years. I thought I'd receive top notch care as all other Northern Light Hospitals an affiliates give. Only reason I give a low star rating is the Dr. Nurses are great as well as receptionists.

Hi given a review on a loop recorder that I had implanted in 2017 that Northeast cardiologist recommended. A few days ago I went to st joes with heart problems and they found that I had a fib . So I call norther light so they could look at the down load from the loop recorder . I was told that it had not downloaded for 60 days . I was told the loop record doesn't work in my area when I went in to northern light for a reset . I'm still waiting for the report i told them I want to see. If you look up Biotronik implants the federal government sued them for paying Kickbacks. I was sold a loop recorder that does send form my house . I also was told the they are having a lot of problems with them. Was this implanded in my best interest or a doctors .I should get a refund we both know that this recorder is not work the way it should. Update they talk with Biotronik engineer they said and the loop recorder the way it was implanted it would not pick up A fib so they change set points to see if will , so I have a loop recorder that has been in my chest since 2017 that was not picking up A fib . Still think a refund is in order . Update the loop record has now been shut off due to low battery it been in my chest for 9 years . Ask questions before implanting anything in you
