About Dr. Amina Qazi, DO
An academic star at an early age, by 16, Dr. Qazi graduated from high school in Portland and was attending college close to home at the University of Southern Maine (USM). After completing her graduate studies in Applied Immunology at USM, she attended the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford. She completed her internal medicine residency training at the University of Connecticut Internal Medicine and her cardiovascular disease fellowship at Maine Medical Center in Portland. Dr. Qazi is a member of the Maine Medical Association's Board of Directors and its Public Health Committee. She is also a former governor of the Maine Chapter of the American College of Cardiology.
