The entire staff makes you feel welcome. Everyone says good morning. How are you. The LPN, Raven R, was exceptional. She answered all of our questions in great detail which was reassuring. Dr. Thompson has a great support staff.

I became a patient at CIS in Zachary in 2021 when moving back to LA after 21 years in AZ, where the healthcare was superb. My first cardiologist was Dr Argawahl whom we loved. He performed caths on my husband and me. Dr Jasti picked us up after Dr A left and we just fell in love with his beautiful manner and it broke my heart when he left! Next up is Dr Munir. In July he attempted a heart cath and was unable to access the vessel. I was transferred to BRGMC for surgery which was not able to be done, so I came home with this bad blockage in a main vessel which put me at risk for a fatal MI. Dr Munir had his staff call me in and we had a talk. He wanted to try again using additional devices. After two hours of working nonstop, he was able to place a stent! It was a bit more complex than the usual heart cath, but I truly believe his skill and concern for me has actually given me a few more years to spend with my beautiful grandchildren! I am symptom-free and a very happy and blessed woman. I highly recommend Dr Munir as an excellent cardiologist, an amazing clinician and a genuinely nice man. Thank you, CIS Team, and a huge thank you to Dr Munir!
