Glenwood Regional Medical Center

My overall stay last month was great. My nurses and doctor were very sweet and caring but I just want to warn people to stay away from this nurse. She's the person that signs you up from insurance. She was extremely rude and impatient to PATIENTS! If your family member is unable to respond to questions and you have to answer for them, she'll roll her eyes and give you an attitude! She does not need to be around sick people! I believe she was a jamaican lady!

I'm giving ONE star because this is the ONLY way that I can leave a review. The majority of the time that I go to a hospital, it's normally Glenwood and I get treated very well. However on 9/30/25 I came in because of post surgery pain and I saw that HORRIBLE doctor Palmer. I've had run ins with him at Oschners and Glenwood and it's always been personal and not professional with him. He Denys me pain relief because he doesn't like me and I DEFINITELY DO NOT CARE FOR HIM EITHER. As a black woman, we are already under served in the medical field as it relates to being seen for pain. He CONTINUES to down play my pain and disrespects me by trying to treat my severe pain with OTC remedies. If all I needed was OTC medicine, I wouldn't need to come to the ER. He works at Glenwood and Oschners in Monroe and he needs to be FIRED FROM BOTH! DISGUSTING MAN!

I almost died from sepsis cuz the NP told me I didn't have diverticulitis. The next day I went SF and admitted immediately. Twice now, they're too incompetent to read a CT scan. Another time a nurse tried to give me someone else's RX, I tried to show her my name band, she walked out screaming I refused my meds. I had my cell phone stolen twice, out of my room. If you push the button for a nurse, you're going to be ignored or degraded. Traveling nurses do not care about you or Glenwood. I'd rather die in the hall of St.F than go back here.

My sister was taken to the ER last week. I spoke with a female nurse that night and asked if my sister needed diapers or food, because they did not have diapers when she stayed in the past. The nurse said she had found diapers. The next day after 7 am, my sister said she was not changed at all or fed much. In the early evening when she was changed, her back side was so red and irritated they should feel ashamed to leave a crippled elderly person in that condition. Whoever took over her care on the 7 am shift did a horrible job of taking care of my sister and meeting her needs. We will not be sending her back to your ER. I give it a 2 for the people before the 7 am shift the next day.

I got drove in for an emergency car crash. When I arrive I get asked for an id. I said I had a picture which said it worked. Once rolled onto the register sitting , "shishir " asked for the picture which I handed my phone to him. After waiting 2 minutes or so. He gave me my phone back with the phone turned off which I thought nothing of because maybe he was done ),but when I unlocked my phone , it was on a video of me and my partner in an intimate video. I asked 2 police officers for an explanation , and all they offered me was " let's get someone else to register u" Sirrrrrr. So everyone basically just ignored the fact that that man was way watching my personal things. I will be calling corporate every single day until someone checks that camera behind him and sees what he was doing with my phone.
