Dr. Ahmed I. Salem is a board-certified internist (American Board of Internal Medicine) who joined Willis-Knighton Health System in 2021. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from The School of Medicine, Suez Canal University in Ismailia, Egypt 2009. He completed his internship and medical residency in Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Florida State University in Sarasota, Florida. "My philosophy in treating my patients is based on the modern definition of health, defining health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. The Nurse Elizabeth was awesomeness! DR. Salem was through and seems to care. I am not a easy patient in any shape or form. So his stern countenance will probably serve us both well. All in all, it was a great experience.
