First time ever getting a mammogram and I must say, "It wasn't so bad at all!" I've been told a few stories about mammograms and I was extremely nervous about going to take this screening because of so! To my surprise, it wasn't so bad after all! First, the wait time was little to nothing because soon as I sat down my name was called to check in and be seen! I forgot what their name was but the physician was highly professional and strong, and she turned my body in every direction she needed for taking this screening! There's a lot of pictures and angles they have to take in order to ensure you get the best results and not have to come back to take the uncomfortable examination, but overall the process is quick, easy and painless! Thanks again to all the kind women at this facility and thanks for giving me great care and respect.

I had such a great experience here this past Tuesday. The young lady who checked me in (Ashley Holmes) was awesome. She was so pleasant. While waiting to be seen, I saw how she took care of an elderly patient, calling for transportation in advance, looking out for the driver, and assisting her to the vehicle. I was thoroughly impressed. I usually don't do reviews but I had to do this one. I will definitely recommend this location to anyone and everyone.

I had specifically called over to Touro (New Orleans) to obtain the pricing would be for a radiology service and they quoted me a price and then I received a separate bill from the radiology practice that no one mentioned to me. I find it extremely frustrating to navigate the healthcare system when there is zero transparency in terms of pricing. I think it is just a bad practice in this day and age to not be clear to patients on the total costs for the service, even if broken out by provider and/or facility.

I had a great visit. I had a CAT scan with the "contrast" which has always made me sick and ready to vomit. Peggy, the lady that did the scan, was the most professional, caring, and responsive individual I have come across in all the scans I have ever had anywhere. She is the best! Told me what to expect---although I already held horrible expectations, what to do when the inevitable nausea came and how to defeat it with breathing. This lady is first rate and a true gem!

Thank you for rescheduling my MRI. But a process needs to be in place where the techs can hear the patients screaming during an IV infiltration of the arm (contrasting dye pumped into the arm instead of the vein is very, very painful) and either reset the needle in the arm or stop the procedure altogether. This could prevent unnecessary pain. It would also prevent unnecessary loss of sick leave from work.
