I was at Labor & Delivery I had an amazing experience since I entered there, It seemed like my delivery would be an emergency C-section, until everything was stable to proceed next day and Oh my God... the nurses that did it my pre operation and every Doctor that saw me previous and after my surgery made me feel like a family. In particular, the nurses who treat me like they are my best friends Ashley, Alyce, Phi, and the last one that was on the night shift last Sunday ( I couldn't remember her name) but she was part of this incredible nursing team that was taking care of me. All of them were so attentive, careful, and made me feel so comfortable taking care of me and my baby. I can say the way they treat their patients makes them feel so special. This Hospital and the Birthing Center in my experience are amazing, I can't complain

The first time I went in for the procedure: I met with my doctors. Then I waited for at least three hours for a technician to arrive. I got ansy and left.
On my second time I went in for the procedure and my first doctor informed me that we were going to do a conversion. This was not what I was there for.
We corrected that with everyone there and proceeded to have a great procedure. I do enjoy the people and the work done at Touro.

The process of checking in and getting evaluation was fast. The problem came after I was put in a room to see the doctor. I was put in the bed hooked to the monitor. The doctor come in later to say she was waiting for the CT scan to come back. I had no way to contact a nurse or anyone for assistance, if needed after she left. No one came to check on me for awhile. I unhooked the monitor to go to the restroom. No one missed me. I couldn't fined the call button for the nurse. It was behind the bed. The nurse came in later saying it was crazy out front. That's when he found the button and hooked it to the bed. I was in the room for at least four hours. Checking on a patient should better.

Let me see. Where to start.
1. They NEVER got my wifes diet right until we complained to the nursing supervisor.
2. We've been waiting since 9 am on her discharge day to go home and 7 hours later we're still here. No one is hurring ro help us and we have a 3 hour drive so that means my wife will have to climb steps to our house, in the dark, with a freshly replaced knee.
3. I'm never coming to the hospital again.
