Openly admitted he did not review my chart before my new patient visit.He did not do any physical exam at all. Very dismissive and was clearly annoyed that ochsner moved my scheduled my appointment to an earlier date because they had a cancelation. I've been seen by 4 doctors all of them said I needed an EP specialist. I have liver disease episodes of tachycardia and bradycardia and extremely low blood pressure. He prescribed a medication that has various contraindications for ALL these conditions. Told me the medicine was extremely expensive and that my insurance would not cover it. He said after I paid for the first month of medication and if it worked he would possibly contact the drug manufacturers but he wasn't "doing all that" if I couldn't tolerate the medicine. At the end of the visit he told me there was nothing wrong with me, yet he gave me medication for heart failure. I would strongly recommend using someone else if you want a doctor who actually reviews your medical history before giving medicine that could cause further cardiac issues. He referred me to a different EP specialist outside of the ochsner network work.

Dr. Polin has my complete confidence and I am so grateful to be a patient he cares for. He has a very gentle manner and explains everything in detail with me. He evaluated my latest situation and made a personalized plan for me. He took all the time with me that I needed and explained everything so I would understand my next steps.

Dr. Glenn Polin has been my cardiologist for several years now, since he and his family first arrived in New Orleans. I'm totally satisfied with the care that I've received. I especially appreciate Dr. Polin's attention and the detailed explanations he provides for my conditions, procedures, recommended medications and treatment. He's prompt, and I never feel rushed during our visits, and the depth and breadth of his knowledge when I ask him any question, is a source of comfort and confidence in his ability. His staff is quick to respond to any routine messages I send through the portal and they are also very pleasant when checking me in. I feel truly blessed to be in the care of such a knowledgeable, capable and genuinely concerned doctor.

Although I've only seen Dr. Polin once, I was impressed with his easy, approachable manner. He outlined a treatment goal and was encouraging about the process. I look forward to having him as my physician.

Dr. Glen Polin has been my doctor for many years now. He has seen me through several ups and downs with my heart problems over the years. Dr. Polin is all the things you think a good doctor should be, professional, knowledgeable and informative. It is the little things that Dr. Polin does that I feel set him apart from the others. Dr. Polin is always ready to listen and cares about your opinions. You never have to worry about asking him questions, with him there are no dumb questions. He has a tremendous amount of compassion for his patients. He will take the time to explain things making sure you understand and calm your fears when necessary. You would never know if he was having a bad day because you are always greeted with a smile and made to feel he is there for you and only you. I would highly recommend Dr. Polin to anyone. I could never thank him enough for all he has done for me.
