Rezaul Islam, MD is Board Certified in cardiology and has been practicing adult cardiology in Monroe since 1998. Dr. Islam received his medical degree from Dhaka Medical College, Bangladesh and Registrar in Medicine from Princess Margaret Hospital, Swindon, UK. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA and served as Chief Resident Internal Medicine at Western Pennsylvania Hospital for the period 1994-1995. Dr. Islam completed his Cardiology Fellowship at Western Pennsylvania Hospital. He joined the St. Francis Medical Staff in 1999.

Dr Islam was very professional today at my first followup appt. He was very aritualate when explaining my new pace maker. I had a long list of questions and concerns. He answered and explain every question I had. He listens..... His staff was very likeable and friendly.
Excellent doctor and staff. Dr. Islam is a great doctor. He listens to you and talks to you thoroughly about your issues. His staff is wonderful and cares for all the patients that come to the clinic. The whole office works together to meet the needs of the patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Islam and his team if you need a Cardiologist.
Dr Islam and his team are absolutely awesome. I've been to many doctors in my 58 years and it's such a blessing to meet a Doctor Who actually takes time to listen and to hear what I had to say!
