About Dr. Nauman Khalid, MD
Nauman Khalid, MD is a Board-Certified interventional cardiologist who received his medical degree from Aga Khan University in Pakistan. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, Connecticut. His fellowship in cardiovascular disease was completed at SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, followed by a fellowship in interventional cardiology and structural heart disease at MedStar Georgetown/Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Khalid is Certified by the Board of Nuclear Cardiology and the National Board of Echocardiography.

The staff was very friendly and professional. I was very close to my appointment time being taken back to the exam room, and was with other staff until shortly before the doctor arrived. The overall experience was above my expectations. Medical professionals face a tough situation in caring for patients on a daily basis. Kudos to you and your staff!

The moment I got into the office, I was immediately called back. The aide asked me some questions and continued to take my vitals and checked my chart to see if there were any else for her to do. She issued the EKG and told me the doctor will be in shortly. He came in and reviewed the results and discussed them with me. All was well so he said come back in a year. I was out in twenty-three minutes.

Dr. Khalid is an amazing, servant-minded doctor. I met him in a life-threatening situation in the cath lab. He came to the hospital on a night where he was not on call. He did a procedure that took 3 hours from anbout midnight to 3 anm. His willingness to come in that night saved my life. He is honest, patient, and compassionate. He listens to my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Khalid as an excellent choice for your interventional cardiology needs.
