This was my first appointment with Dr Engelhardt & staff. Everyone is friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. I went back & had an ultrasound done & it went well. The Tech was really friendly, knowledgeable & very helpful. The only issue I have is that I sent a message through the LCMC portal over 2 weeks with a non urgent question & I have not gotten an answer. I called after a week to inquire on the status of my question & as of 10/8/25 I still have not gotten an answer. Otherwise all is good.

Aside from the insane situation in the parking garage, which does not play into this review, the visit was great.
Even arriving just after my appointment time, there was very little wait to be seen by Dr. Englehart 's assistant and Dr. Englehart himself.
Dr. Englehart addressed the issues needed, listened and responded to my questions, and, was unrushed and caring in attitude. All in all what one hopes for and expects in a visit.

He is awful. Not good bed side manner. Was scheduled to do bypass on my Dad. Got his age wrong by 20 years and said he could go home while waiting for bypass in ICU though the other doctors said absolutely not! He called off his surgery after they wheeled him up. Said he had a bad airway. The doctor very rarely communicated with us. He stayed on a different page than the other teams. He also lied in his notes on my Dads portal that we all had access to. Doctor insisted intubation and extubation would be extremely difficult on my Dad.
We transported my Dad to Ochsner and it all went perfectly. They said his airway was completely fine and it all went really smoothly. Go to Ochnser main campus instead! They saved my Dads life!
