About Dr. J. Gregory Lugo, MD
J. Gregory Lugo, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon with the Memorial Medical Group. He also serves as the Medical Director of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery.
Dr. Lugo is a graduate of Stanford University and he received his medical degree from Medical College of Wisconsin.
His post-graduate medical training includes an internship and residency in surgery from the University of Southern California (USC). He also completed a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery from USC. He specializes in aortic surgery, minimally invasive valve repair and replacement, peripheral vascular surgery including carotid procedures and bypasses, and surgery for diseases of the lungs and chest cavity.

My wife just had a tripple by-pass surgery and thank God we have Dr. Lugo on our side.
During the surgery from prep to finish I received updates every hour from one of Dr. Lugo's staff.
