Dr. Yousef is one of those truly exceptional doctors. He is an excellent listener, comprehensive in care, personable in communication, highly knowledgeable, does a really good job of explaining his thought processes and reasoning, and is attentive to the whole patient. Dr. Yousef does not rush through an appointment and my concerns were valued and heard. Prior to my first visit, a non-office individual mentioned that Dr. Yousef would "get to the bottom of what is going on'", and I found that comment to be absolutely valid. Additionally, every person from the staff showed excellence in care with warmth, kindness, patience, attention, and sincerity. Beginning with my initial referral to Dr. Yousef, I interacted with at least three different medical staff members by phone, through MyOchsner, and in person, and it was evident to me that they were dedicated to their profession, enjoyed their work and cared about me as a patient. Over the past several years, I have communicated with the Ochsner Cardiology Department staff several times through appointments with my husband's doctor there and have consistently found that each staff member goes above and beyond in their care and services.
