I called the cardiologist department to make an appointment , and my receptionist was katina , she was very helpful and had a good tone to her voice , and patient . And It seems like she likes working there , I give katrina five stars 5 stars Ochner cardiologist department , save my life twelve years ago with a ablazment procedure , 12 years ago . My Doctors are the Polands Nicole and Glenn , a married couple . I haven't enough stars to give them .

Very professional. Helped me to understand what is going on with my health. I like that they listen to what your saying/asking and answers you so you understand. Great personality aka bedside manners. REALLY helped eased all my anxieties about my procedure, what to expect and what the long road ahead looks like. You also don't have to wait long to be called back for your appointment. . Heart Happy

I'm a regular patient here, and I wanted to give a shout out to the excellent echo tech I had at my last visit. According to my paperwork, her name is Angela Molitor. She was the best! Not only did she get the echo done in a timely yet thorough fashion, she was also so kind and so willing to answer all my questions about how echoes work, the technical names for things, why the sky's blue, and so forth. To the powers that be: give this woman a raise. I've had many, many echoes at this point, so it takes a lot for one to stand out. While I'm here, I'll also add that my doc, Dr. Bober, is fantastic. I'm so thankful to have him in my corner. Bober and his team have kept the old ticker ticking so far!

I love this place. I have been a congenital heart patient here for about 10 years. The doctors, nurses, techs, and other staff are wonderful. But the billing department needs help. My insurance has always covered 100% of my tests and procedures (echos, ekg, stress tests, etc). I have only ever owed a $25 office visit copay. However on this last visit, they sent me an out-of-pocket prepay estimate of over $500. When I called the billing department, I was told that I needed to talk to my insurance company. When I called my insurance company, I was told that nobody from Ochsner contacted them regarding coverage, and everything should stp be completely covered as usual. Nothing out of pocket except that $25 copay. Even after all of this, (and explaining the situation to the billing department) i still ended up having to prepay $112, plus $25 for the office visit. Very frustrating.

I was very pleased with the care and level of professionalism of everyone involved. Care was taken to keep the area as safe as possible from the spread of Covid. The Technician was friendly caring and knowledgeable. She made sure I was comfortable during the lengthy process. I also greatly appreciate their efforts to have my Cardiologist appointment scheduled for last that day moved up so that I was able to see Dr Breaux only after a short wait, following my Echocardiogram.
