North Oaks Cardiology Clinic

I currently live in Houston, TX but I'm from New Orleans. I have a home here in Hammond, La and I return here as often as I can because it is my home. It is so difficult to get a medical office visit there in Houston; typically 3-6 months out and the providers there are not so personal so I chose to move my medical services here to Hammond. Dr. Kopfler, my cardiologist was recommended by my dentist Dr. Jill Truxillo here in Hammond. I booked the appointment online for THE NEXT DAY and I could not be more pleased with the referral. Dr. Kopfler was very kind, thoughtful, relaxed and in no great rush to move on to the next appointment. He treated me with the utmost respect and professional courtesy.The staff there was very friendly yet professional. While there for y annual checkup I also needed clearance for an upcoming cataract surgery. Arrival, check-in, examination with Dr. Kopfler, ECG, all done within 45 minutes. Cannot recommend this group and Dr. Kopfler highly enough.

Dr Mena, was the first Dr who ever listened to me, my concern a d my fears. He stayed in the room about 30 minutes to make sure my concerns were met and fears alleviated. He has a sweet demeanor about him. He and his staff were attentive, make me feel comfortable, very very personable as well as very professional. Toni Bihm

All the staff has always been very friendly to me. I have so much faith in Dr. Khoueiry he is the best he always explains everything to me so I understand. The only other doctor I have seen there is Dr Jasmine Severan and she was great she was very easy to talk to.

Had my regular checkup with Dr. Ennis and, as usual, found the facilities to be clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful, friendly, and professional, there was only a 2 minute wait before I was called into the examination room, and the nurse took my weight, temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels without any delays. She asked a few questions about my current health then told me that the doctor would be right in. Another 2 minute wait and the doctor knocked on my door and came in to begin the exam. Dr. Ennis was familiar with my history and asked pertinent questions about my symptoms and medication and made changes to address problems. He was interested in my condition, asked questions, listened to my opinions, and made me feel that he was sincerely interested in helping to improve my condition. Dr. Ennis was friendly, thoughtful, courteous, and professional at all times.

Everyone was professional and very caring! I wasn't rushed and I truly knew I was in the right place. I'm truly appreciative to Dr. Parker and especially Dr. J. Mena. My whole experience was great
