Dr. Vinod Nair joined Cardiovascular Institute of the South in 2005 to serve as a staff cardiologist at the institute's Houma clinic. Practicing as an internist as well as an interventional cardiologist prior to joining CIS, Dr. Nair brings years of experience to the CIS team of physicians. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, vascular medicine, endovascular medicine and cardiovascular computed tomography. In his native India, Dr. Nair received his undergraduate degree from Malabar Christian College and his medical education from M.S. Ramaiah Medical Teaching Hospital.

Definitely recommend Dr. Nair for any cardiovascular issues. Even if you're not having any issues, it's a good idea just to get checked out. Dr. Nair is very thorough and explains things very well. He has compassion and cares about his patients. My situation seeing him.isnt the ideal way, but he definitely makes it easier to cope with my issues and I leave knowing what's going on and not wondering. Very down to earth and personable. I'll never say "I can't wait to see the doctor again" but, he makes it much easier from all aspects.
Great doctor he really explains everything to you. And when he said he's gonna do something, he is gonna do exactly what he says. If he can fix it, he will if he can help you get healthy. He will. I am not been with him long. But the time that I have been with him. I really enjoy and appreciate everything that he does. He have got my Blood Pressure down like he said he was gonna do so. I appreciate my dog though. I recommend him if you are having heart problems or Blood Pressure problems. He's great
