Brandi R. Carter, FNP-C

My visits with Dr. Brandi Carter has proven to be an extremely positive experience for me during such a trying time in my life. She's a true professional and a really good person. I was very comfortable with how attentive she was to my health needs.

NP Brandi Carter did a wonderful job, if it wasn't for her I would not be here. After going to her and sending me to the ER for the second time after the ER didn't help me the first time with a heartbeat of 133 after all the test they did. I did stay over the first time but they did nothing other than pumping fluids. The next day they sent me home saying I wanted to go home which was false. After all that they finally sent me to Slidell Memorial Hospital where they took care of my situation.

The session with Dr. Carter was very informative and she showed real concern and care. She answered my questions directly and with explanations. From my point of view, she was very thorough for a first visit.

Got to that age, where I need to take care of my heart, so I asked my doctor ( Dr Bertucci ) for advice. He highly recommended Brandi Carter, which was the absolute best choice! She actually takes the time to listen to you, she is super smart and has a wicked sense of humor, which is really important when you got to take care of your heart! I am looking forward to having Brandi Carter as part of my medical team for a long time!

I met Ms. Carter when she attended my husband when he was hospitalized. Her warmth, courtesy, compassion for the patient were greatly appreciated. Her knowledge and competence were clearly evident. I was looking for a cardiologist when we met, and I made an appointment with her when I learned that she was accepting new patients. I was even. more impressed after my first visit about a week ago. She is a great enhancement to the staff at the St Bernard campus! Thanks!!
