Norton Heart Specialists - Shepherdsville

This place is the worst! We took my 2 year old son due to him complaining his ear hurt. Since he has had ear infections in the past and is known to have seizures due to high temperatures and it being a holiday and his doctors office was closed we decided to have him seen here to get him started on antibiotics as soon as possible. We paid $75 for a copay and the doctor told us his ears looked completely normal and there was nothing wrong. So we left thinking my son was just saying his ear hurt do to being sleepy. A hour later he begin to run a fever of 101, I gave him meds and he went to sleep for about 2 1/2 hours and we woke him and he was not his self he was completely lethargic and was now running a fever of 104. We rushed him to Kosair and was told he had a serve middle ear infection and his ear drum had ruptured. We then explained that we took him to the immediate care center in shepherdsville and the doctor said he was fine. The ER doctor said there is no way his ear could have looked fine. I decided to call the immediate care center requesting a refund due to the poor medical treatment. I called the following day and was told someone would get in contact with me and so have waited for almost 3 weeks and called and was told that due to her knowing I would not be happy with her response she decided not to call me. They are now saying there is nothing they can do about this. It is the fact I need the money it is the fact we came to them for medical treatment and paid for that service and they just did not provide if you ask me. If my left leg was about to fall off and this place was my only choice I'd let me left leg fall off.

Called my doctor's office on Thursday for foot pain and an ear ache, but with no luck could not get an appointment Thursday, Friday ,or the following Monday when I called for one. I also showed up at 8am to see if they could work me in that morning or afternoon and they couldn't. So I went to norton medical in Shepherdsville, only to find out they were full today as well and not taking new patients until October. They said try Norton ICC next door so I did and filled out the paper work, waited 45 min to be seen. When I met the doctor there, I was drilled repeatedly by the JERK DOCTOR who basically called me a liar and treated me extremely rude. He kept asking me why I didn't go see my own doctor instead and apparently didn't have good communication if they didn't take him in as if I was wasting his time being there and he didn't want to see me. Why am I paying him if he apparently doesn't want to take patients and doesn't want to do his job. So after being treated this way I got upset and just left. I DO NOT recommend going to this place. It's both a waste of your time and your money.

They suck! I went in there and spent $75 for them to tell me that I have an upper respiratory infection, but they weren't going to prescribe me anything for it. Then continued to tell me to stay away from my son as much as possible. Now, I am worse off than before and they told me that if I didn't get better then they would call something in. Well, that was a lie because when I tried, they told me I would have to come back in.
