After reading so many negative reviews about this clinic, I felt I must make a review! My husband and I have been coming to this clinic for approx 6 years. My husband saw Kahley Howell before he recently passed away and I see Taylor Medley. We very rarely have to wait more than a few minutes and have found both of these providers to be excellent. They are always willing to listen to you and involve you in any medical decision. I cannot speak highly enough about the excellent care we have received at this clinic!

Aaron Newton should be ashamed of himself. Came to see him a year ago with my daughter about a personal concern. I had suggested multiple things and asked about referrals to specialists. He declined and said he "wasn't too concerned" that those were the underlying causes of her problem and he didn't think she needed to see those specialists. Fast forward to today, all he kept talking about was her weight. She's a kid! Although weight management is very important, there is a way to say it to/about/around a child. My daughter came home crying and said he even went as far as grabbing her chin and saying "you shouldn't have this". Not only am I disgusted, I feel bad that I trusted my daughter's care with him. Not to mention, the very same things I suggested last year was what he was suggesting this year. What a joke.

My mother's test results have been in for a week!! Shes tried calling and leaving messages with no return calls back. She needed an antibiotic and had to go into the office and ASK for the doctor Stephanie Mayer to read her lab results and be given her meds. She had been suffering for over a week! The front office ladies were rude to her, and told her " no news is good news" and laughed. I'm appalled at the behavior and treatment of women, for women at this clinic. Absolutely disgraceful!

I've been going to Dr. Chism since 2016 and I am very thankful for the care she provides for me. Listens to all my concerns and makes sure to take all concerns very seriously. I've not once felt like any of my concerns are brushed off. You don't see many providers do that these days. She always has the best bedside manners too. My daughter also sees Kaylee Howell and she's been an amazing provider. Again, listens to all my concerns as a (extremely over protective and very anxious) first time mom. Always reassures that my husband and I are doing great as parents. Which is also something you don't see a lot of providers say to parents. She's helped us a ton on feeling more confident in parenting. My only real complaint is nothing with them but more on the fact of scheduling is sometimes really far out, and the wait for appointments is long. That's really about it. I still stand with this practice being one of the best and always recommend people to come here because Chism and Howell don't disappoint!

Conflicted on how to grade this practice as my experiences ( * IF * we can actually be seen) are very positive for the most part. I feel like my provider listens to me and has my best interest at heart. However, my family can not rely on this practice for anything but wellness/routine care and other appointments that can be put on hold for up to 6 weeks. It is extremely rare to be able to get seen when we are sick. We are always told to go to urgent care. They have taken on way more patients than they can handle which is disappointing. We have been going to this practice for about 8 years now and it is a night and day experience from then to now. I hate that when our kiddos are sick they have to always see a new face when they are already nervous and not feeling good. It was so much better when they knew the doctor they were seeing wether well or sick. If you have a high co-pay for urgent care I highly recommend avoiding this practice as a new patient because you will most likely not be able to be seen if sick. If and when you are seen, the providers really are great.
