My bypass was a shock. I had a heart cath that showed a blockage. Dr. O'Rourke was the surgeon my cardiologist referred to me. I was of course concerned having a major surgery in Paducah. But after asking around to people I knew in the medical profession, I was told by all that Dr. O'Rourke was the best here and also in the US. Now, after 4 weeks post-op, I can say, this is a true statement. Dr. O'Rourke is not only a great surgeon, he is a class act. Caring and professional. Hopefully I am done with heart surgeries, but if I ever have another, I will be seeing Dr. O'Rourke. He is the best.
