About Dr. Yuvraj Chowdhury, MD
Dr Yuvraj Chowdhury did his internal medicine residency training in New Jersey where he was elected Chief resident. He went on to complete his cardiology fellowship from SUNY Downstate in New York City where he served as Chief cardiology fellow. Dr Chowdhury pursued his interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts. He specializes in treating patients with coronary artery disease including placing stents to open blockages in the blood vessels that supply the heart. He also treats patients with pulmonary embolism by removing clot from the lungs and uses percutaneous techniques to close PFOs or "holes in the heart".
