Siddharth V. Pahwa, M.D., is a cardiovascular surgeon at UofL Health. Dr. Pahwa attended Kasturba Medical College where he earned both his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree and Doctor of Medicine degree. He also completed an internship with the Kasturba Medical College before completing his residency with the Government Medical College in general surgery. Dr. Pahwa then earned his Master of Surgery degree from Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences before completing his fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in advanced cardiovascular surgery.

Dr Pahwa was phenomenal!! He saved my life and gave me the facts upfront. His confidence, reassurance, and bedside manner are second to none. And on my day of discharge, he made the final stop, after his nurse practitioner had cleared me, for a fist bump and well wish as I was preparing to go home.

One year ago today I had a CABG X 4 at UofL Jewish. Dr. Pahwa was the surgeon. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Pahwa, his staff and the amazing nurses at UofL Jewish I.C.U recovery. They are by far the BEST! Thank you all so very much.

I had open heart/bypass of widow maker surgery March 24th, 2023.... I can't thank Dr. Pahwa & his entire staff enough. From the first day I met him in consultation until the day I left the Hospital He put my mind at ease day 1.. I would highly recommend him to anyone.. You do work with a surgical team and they are very professional from top to bottom... Again I cannot thank you enough my healing is going well and my scar looks unbelievably good...
