About Dr. Mostafa O El-Refai, MD
Mostafa O. El-Refai, is an interventional cardiologist. Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, he attended medical school at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, in order to attend their seven year medical school and gain a unique medical experience. Dr. El-Refai returned to the United States for his internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital, where he was elected Chief Medical Resident. He completed his cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He served as the Chief Interventional Cardiology fellow.
