Arensman Frederick W MD

I regularly would see Dr. Arensman as a child, now as a 28 year old adult, I still look back on my appointments with Dr. Arensman with such positivity. He always knew how to make everyone feel welcome, he is very funny, and explained things so well to my parents and I. He is very mindful and ensures that everyone feels comfortable when it comes to exams or ultrasounds (as this can be uncomfortable as a young girl). My parents recently moved out of their home of 20 years and we came across all of the handwritten notes and diagrams Dr. Arensman would use at each visit. He is truly a special physician and I would recommend him to any parent looking for a cardiologist. He never made us feel rushed, and after an ultrasound he would bring us back to his office to debrief/discuss his findings. It was very rare that you would sit long in any sort of exam room. Even now I have the occasional follow up appointment with him. Thankfully, I have grown out of most of my heart related conditions, but he takes the time to check on me every few years. He is genuinely a fantastic person. I would give 100 stars if I could.

Dr. Arensman is a wonderful doctor he's been taking care of my son since he was an infant & he's a happy healthy 14 year old now. Dr. Arensman is very quick & peppy but very thorough and will explain everything to you in detail, he really makes you and your child feel at ease about everything. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a cardiologist!

Dr Arensman is the best! My daughter was laughing and smiling throughout her appointment. He explained everything very clearly and really took the time to make all us very comfortable. I'm so glad we found the best cardiologist in Louisville!

Dr. Arensman is a wonderful dr. We look forward to our yearly appt.with him. However, the staff at the front desk, not welcoming during our visits. I tried to call the office about a bill on friday for the third time. Again, the girl who answered saya she doesnt see we owe a bill. So she sent me to a voicemail. No answer. I wanted this resolved, so I called back. I was immediately hung up on. Thinking it was an error, I called again, hung up on before even a hello. So I called from a different number.....yup, hung up on. Fourth time I call, it was exactly.4:30, to hear a recording the office was closed. I guess they had Friday night plans. Very rude and disrespectful after all the money myself and insurance has paid to cover their payroll. Dont yah think?
