Lexington Heart Specialists

I have only been with this provider for alittle over a year. I had my first appointment, then another for a concern & my yearly. I have paid my copay each time. I have received a letter that I am no longer a patient of this practice due to a balance on my account. I called and left a message for Stephanie to reach out as she had tried to reach me, but haven't heard from her. I loved Dr. Skinner, but very disappointed in how quick they are to release someone.

Dr. Skinner has been taking care of me for 10+ years. He always listens and is very caring about his patients. Calls are always answered and messages returned. I feel confident knowing I am being cared for by one of the top cardiologists in the entire region. Dr. Skinner's office has all the equipment to perform any tests that may be needed. Absolutely top-notch. I wouldn't want anyone else taking care of me and my heart.

I have never been to this office and I'm going to assume they did some kind of ER service for me, though I've never seen a doctor from this practice. It would be nice if someone from their billing office would explain why I'm paying them for something. I've been calling Stephanie since February or March, whenever I got the first bill, to find out who they are and when they did something to benefit me. I call at least once a month and I have yet to hear back from her. I can't recommend this office because it seems like you'll never hear from them when you need answers.

Posting on my wife's behalf. What a horribly mismanaged office. She got an appt for Tuesday afternoon and was called Tuesday morning stating that the Dr. won't be there for her appt because he is trying to end the day early. So they rescheduled for Thursday afternoon at 315pm. They called at 10am on Thursday morning asking if my wife can go in at 11am because once again they don't know if the Dr will be available that afternoon. She was told that she will be the first appt of the day so they will get her seen. My wife moved her rest of the appts around to rush over to their office at 1050am. At 11:30am, they state that the dr is still not in the office. They asked her if she wanted to reschedule AGAIN? Seriously?!? I understand that emergencies arrive and you may have to wait at the doctors appt but this is unbelievable. How can you do this to your patients? Do you really not value your patients time? The front desk woman was full of attitude and very unhelpful. Overall, just very disappointed in this office. I will strongly recommend looking for another cardiologist office.

I came here with past problems of fainting and palpitations. Had an Echocardiogram done and was called back the next day and told everything was perfectly fine. it wasn't until I went for another check up at my primary care physician and was told that I should get another opinion from a different Cardiologist. At this new cardiologist, I was told that my Echocardiogram at Lexington Heart Specialist was very concerning as it I had several serious issues with my Aortic Valve. But I was called and told everything was fine? Doctor at Lexington Heart Specialist also seemed very unconcerned with me and blamed all of my problems on being a "Growing young Woman"
